Grass feed beef is a hot commodity, but we have it! Grass fed beef is delivered directly to a USDA processor. You can either pick up your select cuts by the quarter, whole or half, have them delivered to you (small delivery fee may apply), or by individual cuts from us at markets. If you're local to Birmingham let us know what butcher you use and we will try to arrange the delivery.
We are located in Clanton however beef can be picked up from our processor in Albertville AL.. Price for bulk beef is $3 per pound live weight, so total price and pounds depends on the total weight of the cow at processing. Our beef is 100% pasture raised with no growth hormones or antibiotics. When possible we attempt to raise heritage breed livestock. A good estimate for a quarter is about $750. This also includes your processing fees. A quarter will get you approximately 100 lbs of meat in the freezer. Half of the meat will be ground beef and the other half will be a mixture of roasts, steaks, sirloin, stew meat, cube steaks and short ribs. For a half or whole, we just multiply out the quarter price. So, a half would be around $1500 for approximately 200 lbs of meat and a whole would be around $3000 for approximately 400 lbs of meat. Deposits on a quarter are $150 for a quarter: half - $300: and whole $600.
